A researcher in ecological economics at Lund University in Sweden, his thesis "The political economy of degrowth" (2019) has been adapted into a mainstream book: "Slow down or perish. The economics of degrowth" (September 2022). In it, he explains the urgent need for a great slowdown of production in rich countries, the overcoming of the mythology of growth, and the dismantling of capitalism.
